MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Researchers at all experience levels are encouraged to join JGSWVO and explore their family’s history.
Benefits of membership:
Attend monthly in-person or Zoom meetings—meet friendly and knowledgeable people who share your interest in searching for family and learning about Jewish history and genealogy.
Members receive monthly email meeting announcements, genealogy research tips and addresses of useful websites. Books, genealogy newsletters (including Avotaynu, The International Review of Jewish Genealogy), CDs, DVDs and articles may be borrowed from our library.
Surnames and locations you are researching can be listed on our website to help family and other researchers find you.
Some meetings may feature guest speakers or videos. Others can include topics like solving research problems, telling success stories, sharing ideas and showing family heirlooms. And, there’s always time to hear stories and assist people wishing to begin their research.
