NANCY HOWELL – 1996 Nancy R. Howell-Sanford, 57, a lifelong LaGrange resident, died Saturday at home. She was a corrections officer at Green Haven Correctional Facility for 13 years and retired in 1983. Mrs. Howell-Sanford was a coach for the Expos team in the East Fishkill Little League. She was a member of St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Hopewell Junction. Born on Aug. 21, 1938, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Agustas Howell and Helen Reiley Howell. She was a graduate of Arlington High School. On July 9, 1961, she married Raymond Sanford at Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie.
